These two delightful clay figurines depict mudhead storytellers. Although tiny in size they are huge in charm. The larger figurine is about 2.25” tall and the smaller figurine is about 1.5“ tall. Each has some damage as noted in the pictures. The larger of the two has obvious damage to the top of his left leg, the smaller has damage on the bottom (underside) of his left leg – again notice in the pictures. Even though they have some damage, their sweet charm is evident and will be a nice addition to any storyteller/mudhead collection. The smaller figurine is holding a carefully detailed drum. Both figurines are carefully painted including their shoulders, arms, and back. They may have been originally made to be part of a larger storyteller piece. The larger figurine of the two is signed by Tony Dallas.
