So Beautiful! This is an antique rug that has three inter-locking diamonds encompassing a rectangular design in colors of brown, red, and tan. The red is aniline and the other are natural wools. The rug has a very fine weave. The rug was purchased at a Native American auction and is considered from the 1st quarter of the 20th century, however no documentation is present. It has had one owner since and was on display in a non-smoking home. It has been in storage after a flood damaged the rug.


Size: 57” x 36”


Condition: Colors are faded and one end is damaged. Staining is extensive. Additional staining, running of colors, and mold due to flood damage. Price reflects damage.

    Care and maintaintenqnce of vintage Native American rugs: Regularly vacuum rugs but without a brush roller so that the texture of the rug is not effected. Avoid placing the rug in direct sunligh. Store rugs flat in a cool, dry place to help preserve the fabric and colors. If cleaning is necessary, contact a company that specailizes in cleaning authentic Native Amercan rugs. Do not use commercial cleaners. soaps, or stain removers or rug cleaners.
